Angler fish

Angler fish, those gnarly roundish ones with the jagged teeth and little light that hangs over their forehead, live down at the very bottom of the ocean. They have paper-thin skin (if fish can have skin). The pressure at the bottom of the ocean is so great that these fish should just implode and have their guts floating around the water. But no — they can withstand the pressures of the deep quite comfortably because the pressure inside their bodies is just a little bit greater than the pressure of the water.I too feel like I should be getting crushed by the massive weight on me. But the Holy Spirit inside pushes back just a little stronger — greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. So I’ll just keep swimmin’ around and letting my light shine!(Thanks to pastor Todd for this analogy.)
